Hi finalpoet,

I found that some of my triggers changed over the yrs. Sound never used to bother me but now if it gets to a point where I hear a high pitch sound I sometimes go into a seizure the main thing that really gets to me is cell phones the frequency is what triggers seizures when I'm around a lot of people using their phones at the same time. I noticed that some of my triggers changed after having surgery. I wish you only the best and May God Bless You!

My triggers used to always be stress & fatigue but now often enough my brain just decides to have a seizure when it feels like.

I've had times where my stress levels have been sky high & no seizures but other times where my stress levels had been under control & I had more seizures.

I also recently found out that heat may be a trigger for me where it never used to be.

Short answer, yes!

Triggers can change over time due to alterations in metabolism, hormonal changes, general health, medications, etc. Illness or injury can also lower seizure threshold and make someone more susceptible to seizures from different triggers.

Interesting. I assumed it may, but I was too lazy to find any articles and I just saw my neurologist again. Thanks everyone!
