I'm sure most of you check the expiration date on your milk before you buy it but did you know that everything has an expiration date?
All the items in the refrigerated section - cheese, lunch meat, pudding, jellow, butter, cottage cheese
Canned goods - soups, vegetables, gravy, dips, pasta sauce
Items on the shelf - potato chips, pretzles, bread, buns, candy, pasta, things that you 'just add water to' to cook, salad dressing, mayo, mustard, pickles, coffee, drink mix
Frozen foods - vegtables, pizzas, frozen dinners (even the ones that aren't frozen too)
Personal care products - soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair spray, body loation, makeup, tooth paste, mouth wash
By using some of these old products might cause a rash
Baby products - diapers, wipes, formula, condoms (don't know if that's considered a baby product but if it's an old one you might end up with a baby)
Medicine - ones pescribed from the dr, vitimans, cold meds, asprin
Taking old meds can make you sick
House hold cleaning products - dish soap, furniture cleaner, bathroom cleaners, laundry detergent, fabric softeners
Things for your pets - wet food, dry food, treats, litter, items used to get rid of fleas
I didn't realize that most of these had expration dates until I was talking with my dad about it one time. I started checking things after that. I recently was going to buy some mayo. When I looked a the expiration date I saw it was a month past the expiration date sitting there on the shelf! I know with some things it's ok to eat if it's a little bit past the expiration date but the store isn't aloud to sell it.
