Hey. I went to work after a sleep dep. EEG thinking that the 3hr nap would be enough to sustain me. I know I was vulnerable.
I seemed to become stuck in a series of partial clusters and after recovering my hands and fingernails were all blue. I sat on the office floor a little longer and then got up and took 2mg of ativan.
My work knows to give me ativan when I'm clustering but it was busy and they thought I was fine and only the receptionist saw me leave to "rest" in the office. Plus they haven't done it yet. They just know where the meds are.

I called my GP and they said to talk to my neurologist but I don't see him until August next.
Should I have done something differently? Was I in any danger do you think?
It turns out I was gone for 1hr.
Fine today. Just regular partials so far.

Man! Each day is an adventure.

That was dangerous my wife would have neorologists me I woukd of just went avout my day and know for next time im not out in this ammount of time somethin might be wrong.

I am not sure whether being by yourself while having a seizure is a good idea, especially if there are others around. Sometimes it cannot be helped though. I wonder if it is because you had so many seizures one after the other that your hands turned blue.. not sure. Hope your feel better tomorrow.... Maybe a call to your neurologist's nurse might be in order. She can explain to the neurologist and then give you a call back with his/her thoughts on what might have happened in that one hour. I agree with Mary. I would at least call the neurologists office and explain what happened. Your neurologist may decide to up your appointment time to something a little closer, or at least offer up some other options to help until the Aug appointment.

Thanks guys! It was frustrating because I did call my neuro but they didn't call me back and now it's the easter weekend...I suspect I'll get a call on Tuesday. I just had to have a itty bitty stay in the hospital with some IV ativan. Just what every girl dreams of! Sorry. I'm still kinda loopy. Got home yesterday.
