Hi All!
Is there any complementary therapies I could try which could help to reduce side-effects of the AED I'm taking? I tale 800mgs of tegretol retard (tegretol XR in USA; Tegretol CR in Europe & Canada I believe) 400mgs @ 7:15am & 400mgs 6:15pm.
I don't want to come off or reduce this AED, at all, as it does control my epilepsy quite well. Last sz was April 9 and had 1 sz in early December and October that I can emember. Have to look at my epilepsy diary for any previous sz's!
However, some of the se's I get can be at times, bothersome - other times okay. So, was wondering if any complementary therapies would reduce/prevent the se's I'm gettingg? Is this possible? Hoping it is!!!
