I have been having these episodes for a few months now but more recently they have become more frequent and worse. I have an app with a neuro soon but in the meantime my doc said he doubts very much there seizures as they seem to be to varing and have symtpoms from to many diffrent areas as he puts it, as well as the symptoms lingering and lasting to long to be seizures.

What do you think, they usually always vary but some of the symptoms I have that havent varied are tingling in the left side of body, pressure in left side of head, electric shock feelings in left side of head down into neck made worse when touching head behind my ear. Blurry left eye, spots and other weird vison stuff both eyes, a feeling in my stomach that starts usally on right side or in the middle and travels into chest where I get pressure and heart racing then travels into head, the I get sever hot flushes, that comes in waves and my arm or arms usually feel like there alseep, the feelings always seem to get alot worse or seem worse when I close my eyes.

I have an overwhelming fatigue but myabe that because they usually always come in the middle of the night, they come in waves usually for hours lasting for a few minutes each after the intiall one. But then during the day I also get this feeling that I am going to start shaking or seize up but never do there just like feelings and I get the tingling left leg which last hours and manily comes after I have have been to the toilet but sometimes not. I also get little numb bits mainly in face and tounge at various times during the day. I am at a lose and now the doc said that Im even more confused, ANYONE?????

I don't if this bit of info. that I have experienced can help you. so many of the things you decribe I have not had.

I had been on seizure medic. for around 39 years.

a fews yeas ago I notice my middle toe on right foot would be numb. didn't give it much thought.
a few weeks when by I notice my right foot was numb, and my light arm was numb, when I woke. I 1st. thought I must sleeping the wrong way or something. I also was very fatique, I couldn't lift my arms to wash my hair.

Several years ago while at my Neur. appt. I mention this to him. He said that I was most likely B-12 deficient due to being on dilantin for so many years.
He order blood work. And my was really LOW. They had a hard time getting it up.

when I was reading your thread the fatique, tingering, numbness came to my attention.

This could not be your problem at all.
I hope you will be able to find out what it is. and get the help you need.

Hi jfittler, don't go by what your general doc says -- there's a reason he's not a specialist. Seizures can vary quite widely in kind and duration, and many people experience more than one kind. Your neurologist will evaluate all the symptoms you are having and most likely suggest some tests to help narrow a diagnosis. You might want to ask about having a sleep study done, given that your seizures present mostly at night.
