After having dug to a depth of 10 feet last year, New York scientists found traces of copper wire dating back 100 years and came to the conclusion, that their ancestors already had a telephone network more than 100 years ago.

Not to be outdone by the New Yorkers, in the weeks that followed, a California archaeologist dug to a depth of 20 feet, and shortly after, a story in the LA Times read: "California archaeologists, after finding 200 year old copper wire, have concluded that their ancestors already had an advanced high-tech communications network a hundred years earlier than the New Yorkers."

One week later, a local newspaper in Ohio reported the following: "After digging as deep as 30 feet in his pasture near Findlay, OH, Bubba Brewski, a self-taught archaeologist, reported that he found absolutely nothing. Bubba has therefore concluded that 300 years ago, Ohio had already gone wireless".

Buckeyes are such a proud bunch.

Here in Idaho we have also been wireless for years. We just send and idiot into the the woods and after he leaves a campfire unattended we know the seasons changed to summer and that we need to go moron hunting to send them a bill. When it snows and all the forest fires go out we know its fall heading into winter again, and now that same moron is lost hunting shooting his gun off hoping we find him before he freezes to death we have very slow communication here! Still wireless. I call it the Bubba communication network!

I do hunt and fish but some people come here to float the river with no life jacket one oar and no boat and shoot at sounds, still wireless communication to duck! I guess thats some form of population control. The first true wireless system in Idaho was Native American's smoke signals though and I have lot more respect for them than the Bubba's! They were the first environmentalists here but us pioneers had to modernize everything! My Native American friends say maybe you pioneers and Bubba's have wireless but we used your old telegraphs and phone line made of copper wire to take your money with our casino's its only fair your took our land! Ain't technology cool my neighbor just got one of those fancy indoor crappers that you can flush and watch the water swirl around, he still uses the outhouse because he's afraid of being sucked in!
