I was flailing my hands hitting my dh my palm and my handswould come inwardto mean and strilke me. I'm so sore and I'm surprised I don't have bruises.

Isn't that a partial complex? I haven't had one like that (that I'm aware of). Sorry you experienced that, sounds awful.

I am sorry that you are going through trying times.

Can the full moon affect our seizures? I have been wondering about that.

My DH (Darling Husband) told me that I threw dishes down on the living room floor. I do not remember it. Just as well.

One thing I take when I feel a seizure coming on, I take a cup of Chamomile tea or Sleepy Time tea. That helps to relax me. It calms my nerves down.

your hands coming towards you (ask him to show you the motion - was it repetitive?), you not remembering, being very sore... could have been a grand mal belinda; i'd make your doc see you right away. especially if it's not something you deal with alot.
did you 'feel something coming' prior? tho one won't remember the grand mal the brain still is aware of events leading up if it began with a simple partial.

if not a grand mal, my next guess is a complex partial, mainly b/c you don't remember.

Complex partial seizures are defined by impairment in consciousness. This implies decreased responsiveness and awareness of one’s self and surroundings.
◦During a complex partial seizure, a patient is usually unresponsive and does not remember events that occurred.
◦Consciousness may not be impaired completely. Typically patients do not respond to external stimuli but may make simple verbal responses, follow simple commands, or continue to perform simple or, less commonly, complex motor behaviors such as operate a car.
◦Impairments in consciousness should be contrasted with psychic automatisms in which the patient experiences intense feelings of strangeness.

i don't have c.p's, but mel does, and one time she was having one and, with bare hands, took some muffins out of the oven! burnt :( just shows one can do the most unexpected, and sometimes dangerous things while having them. i still tho think more towards grand mal if your arms were repetitively hitting your chest.
best of luck finding out hun.

:hugs:

with the seizure I was told it was repetitive I do remember the seizure though.

My neuro is out of the country be back thursday. I have an appointment Monday.

I have had some seizures that repeated themselves. They can turn into status seizures. I remember the ones that I had that repeated themselves. Once they turn status, they are dangerous.

Take care
