Hi gang, Has anyone else experianced 'cross wiring' episodes? Lately I have been crossing words (card of decks), actions (removing a shirt from the hanger and walking away with the hanger) couldn't remember if it was am or pm when setting the clock, and forgot what city I live in when addressing an envelope (Wrote a W then went thru the list of W possibilities). Don't know where this is coming from but it startd about a month or two ago, first I just lauged it off, but I'm getting a little nervous about it.:paperbag:

Actually I've always done those sort of things. It's only in the last while that I"m doing them rather frequently.

Thanks for responding so quick! I can't tell if it the meds or the seizures. My seizures are up so my doc increased the Primidone to 3x a day...?

I have it happen too...I forget my phone numbers, doctor's name, name of meds, things I really know. My neuro said it could be from either past seizures or seizure meds.

my particular fvourite is when I leave the front room, get halfway down the hall, and think "why am I in the hall, what was I going to do?" and then when I can't figure it out, go and sit back down, until I remember what it was and then repeat as necessary until even the kids start shouting "You were going to put a load of washing on/cook dinner/dish up dinner/hoover" etc...:roflmao: The word thing isn't sooo bad for me now, but when I was on dope-a-max(topamax) it was AWFUL! now it's only once or twice a day instead of every other sentence. I think that part of it is from the seizures, as with me it does increase in proportion with my seizures the amount I talk...gobbeldygook/ front to back(lol) but also the meds you atre on can make it worse.

Aloha Loudmouth! I too went thru the 'dopa-max' circus. It took a good year and a half (I think) to get back...sorta. These new episodes are in addition to the can't spell, forget stuff, this is kinda new quirks. But then again I have also had an uptick in seizures...ok, I am seeing a pattern, thank you Captain obvious. Sometimes it takes a village to to see the huge pattern in front of me:roflmao:I keep thinking this will all go away someday...of course it might very well be in a pine box by then, heaven help me:paperbag:
