I have felt tense the past few days, and woke up today feeling much better, looser
and then I heard about the earthquake in DC/VA/NYC and wonder if anyone else had experienced any sort of shift that may have been coincidental with this geo event!
I can't attribute anything to it directly, but I found it compelling.

I felt the tremor all the way up here in Massachusetts! It felt like the floor had suddenly become springy. I was a tad worried that I was experiencing something seizure-related, but then I went online and confirmed that the earthquake had happened. (Phew!)

from what I read of the magnitude descriptions, I experienced maybe a 4 on the Richter in Guatemala (although I don't know the actual Richter of the quake, just according to what I felt)
this was prior to being diagnosed with epilepsy
but recalling the feeling of the quake, the loss of gravity perspective during the quake was rather similar to some aura sensations I have
maybe I'm hyper-sensitive to earthquakes

some who know me might say I'm hypersensitive in general

I live 20 mintues from D.C. It was very scary.. A 5.8 which is big for us since we dont typically have earthquakes. But I was getting on here to question if seizures and earthquakes are related in some way. My son has epilepsy and now i'm freaking out that he may be more sensitive to one since the quake.

Take care u all! Earthquakes are commen in our place so we dont panic much when it happens but still moother nature has her ways of showing her wrath! Such events just increase our submission towards the mother nature. Take care!

Earthquakes are scary. Glad you are okay!

Do you have seizure events when on a bumpy road, when on a boat or other randomly moving thing, are you photosensitive to fast moving, unpredictable visual input, does startling a seizure trigger? If so, earthquake might also be a siezure trigger. And I agree, stress, too.

I thought that I was having a seizure yesterday during the earthquake here in Virginia ... was standing in the driveway & reach out to steady myself by grabbing onto the hood of the car . It wasn't until I heard a crack & others panic that I new it was an earthquake . I do believe I WAS affected though shortly before & for the rest of the day as I had my normal seizure "wipedout" feeling and my leg's , head & back felt Off and heavy (still do) . I hope ALL are enjoying all the Blessings that flow daily !

here's an interesting website I found listing the various low-frequency effects and ranges
note that these are well within the earthquake Hz range!
I had a seizure last night (jaw very sore)/this morning (absence, simple/complex partial - I was conscious)
and attribute it with solar-geomagnetic influences something - the earthquake and solar/geomag info is about the only dramatic change

Earthquake was definitely interesting, to say the least... It did not affect me in any way as far as the epilepsy is concerned, just confused me when the building I was working in started shaking (I also live in Virginia). I thought the construction workers were going a bit crazy on the roof for a moment! LOL!
