Dear Hospital,

I have an awesome idea. Why not sound proof your EEG rooms? I don't know if it is just me, but all the talking, laughing and general announcements made in the hallways tend to keep me from relaxing, and God forbid, actually sleep during this test.

One other thought...how about making sure the tech administrating the test, is not sick? I find the constant coughing to also be a deterant to my sleeping.

Thank you.

p.s.
if you could offer some other back round sound instead of waves crashing. I had to pee the entire time!

I think those are excellent for suggestions for anyone in a hospital for any reason. Most hospitals seem to be designed with maze-like floorplans, bad fluorescent lighting, stale air, yucky smells and incessant noise. Not to mention the sick people!

i agree! the noises are horrendous. (i laughed at the peeing comment, XD) With all their equipment you think a little padding to their walls wouldn't be so bad. Mine was luckily quiet but then I had seized 30 times and wasn't aware of much (due to being drugged out of my sanity)
