Up until about 6 months ago all the seizues that I had I would just go right into, blank out during it, then come out of it not knowing that I even had it. I'd never have any warning it was coming on. I have a VNS too but since I didn't know it was going to happen I didn't know to use my magnet.

I still have the blank out seizures but my husband will see that I have my magnet in my hand or it might be on the floor. I must have known that I needed to use it but just didn't get there in time to try to stop it. This never happened before.

Now for a good bit of my seizures I realize that I'm having it. I'll get a little confused about what I'm doing, dizzy, can't think strait, talk right and my vision will get blurred some of the time. Sometimes other things will happen too that aren't right but these are the main ones. When this happens I'll use my magnet I feel ok again after a few minutes. Maybe not back to 100% but I know what happened. Sometimes I'll get a headache after them wich is a sure seizure sign for me.

With these ones I don't think it's a seizure, or I deny it was. I'm used to having about 3 seizures a month, blanking out during all of them. But now that I know about these other kinds, I'm having at least 1 a week. I'm assuming these are seizures?

I haven't had any med changes or, except that my neuro increased one slightly around a year ago then took be back down to my orignal dose about 5 months later. My VNS hasn't been adjusted for over a year.
