After not getting much sleep i was abruptly woken, couple minutes later i felt a bit dizzy and wanted to vomit. I cant remember completely what happend during but ill try my best. While sitting eating my breakfast i started convulsing for about 4 seconds. Not sure if i was conscious during this or i kept slippping in and out of consciousness but i cant vaguely remember my whole body uncontrollably jerking about. When it was over i tried to make it to my bed but slumped to the ground and the same thing happened again for about 4 seconds. After i felt cold and was sweating quite heavily but was feeling better after 30 mins.Does this sound like i had just Fainted or had a seizure? I had a similar experience a year ago after smoking weed but i presumed it was me just me reacting badly to it. This time i hadn't been drinking or taking any kind of drug. I was told i was over reacting the first time it happen as no one witnessed it but this time my whole family seen it and it worried them so much they paniced and phoned an ambulence.

they took blood samples but didnt seem entirely convinced and i am going to go to a doctor to be tested properly.

Hi Polaris89,

Did you go to the ER after this recent episodes? If so, they should have performed some tests that might shed some light on what happened. The symptoms you describe could be seizure-related, but it's hard to know for sure. What does seem clear is that you should check in with your doctor.

In the meantime, can you think of any particular triggers for the symptoms? You mention being tired -- fatigue can be a big trigger. Were you dehydrated, or was your blood sugar low? Were you under unusual stress? Do your best to stay healthy overall, and see a doctor asap.

Best,
Nakamova

Hey! I am only speaking from my experiences here so I could be way off!

The type of seizure you describe sounds like the ones I have, tonic-clonics, however it is very very uncommon for people to remember the seizure. This is why it sounds less likely to be a seizure and more like a "funny turn"

You should go to the doctor though to get it checked out, there are lots of tests they can do to rule out what it is :)
