Valerid, did you kow the American flag was planted on Mars (according to Sheila Jackson Lee, congresswoman representing the 18th District of Texas, downtown Houston? It's hard to expect plain old citizens to know this stuff if our elected officials are clueless.

I dont know who the current American Vice President is but I assume I can be forgiven since I'm Aussie fft:.

I do know who the current President is & who the last 3 or 4 presidents before him were.
I've even heard of Franklin D Roosevelt & when I 1st read this post (before the replies) I thought hang on didn't he pass away years ago? lol

Yea, I'll forgive you. I don't know who the president of Australia is, or just about any other foreign country.

I really don't know much about world history unless the US was involved in it in some way.

Australia has Prime Ministers not presidents. We have 2 main parties Liberal & Labour, one of the parities is Prime Minister & the leader of the other party is called the leader of the opposition.

We got a new prime minister in September last year - Tony Abbot.
