Does anyone know if there are more places around the country (Wis. U.S.A. to be exact) that deal with diets for seizures? I've asked several Dr.'s, and no one seems to know of any. I heard there's supposed to be a version of the ketogenic for adults. I'm hoping I don't have to go across the country to John Hopkins or wherever for help with this.

Dr. Kossoff with Johns Hopkins is the one spearheading most of the current research into diets for seizure control. You might try contacting him and asking if he knows of anyone local to you who can assist you.

You can find the complete protocols for the LGIT, MAD and GARD/GFCF diets listed here on CWE if you want to experiment on your own.

Dogtor John, also has a program that he will personally help you with this. You can contact him through his site at:
www.dogtorj.com

I will send him an e-note. Maybe he has time to stop by here.
