Writing Saves Me! If depression strikes, I flatten it out on paper. If joy strikes, it further whitens my page. I can't be the only one here who feels this way...so I created The Creative Writing Page as a vehicle for people, like myself, who need to get "it all out creatively". My way of "Slaying The Dragon". People have submitted poetry about their experiences with Epilepsy. I wrote my first poem regarding my first Tonic Clonic Seizure, there, titled "A Tendered Life" and felt a sense empowerment over the big E. In the past, Bernard has submitted some really great Haikus, despite his busy schedule, which caused us all to think, to stretch our minds.

People can write about anything...the "stuff of life", past or present or someone who inspires you. If you need to rant. Rant on! And let that paper rip...

However, my Group is becoming sadly barren and I'm ready to visit The Padded Room!!! I'm feeling a kind of uselessnes and aloneness, knowing I'm not the only one, here, who needs to share and interact through the craft of writing. If you think you write badly, you might surprise yourself. In any case, you'd be apart of a creative group which might stimulate you to write or review other's work. Remember, one line could be a poem.

So, I guess this, here, is a kind of a plea, a plug, almost advertisment for "WRITERS WANTED".

Might help if you gave a link to the page so people could find it easier:

Creative Writing Page

You can also find a link to it from the Quick Links > Social Groups menu option at the top of the page.

I'm checking it out Laurie.

Fantastic, Zoe. I think you'll enjoy the poems, reviews and interacting. Would love for you to participate in any way you please. A really good poem was posted by a brave newcomer today and it was a joy to review. Take a look and see if you feel like jumping in. You'd be bringing "life to the party"!

Always - Laurie
