Does anyone take Potiga/neuro talking about it

I was just curious if anyone took it, and how it might work for them?

I already know there is another drug out there because a friend is in a drug trial having bad side effects from it.


Potiga have see about see how my sz's go.neuro's don't want tto take me off Tegretol but they'll try with other drugs.

I'm on Potiga (150 mgs. 3 x a day) along with 3000 mgs. Keppra and a small dose of Topamax. I've been on it for a year and so far the only side effect is that it makes me a bit anxious. However, there is a warning from the FDA about Potiga. It can cause discoloration of the skin and damage to the retina. My neuro suggest I go to my optometrist every 6 months to have an eye exam. I have been to the eye dr. and so far, no problem. Don't mean to scare you, but just giving you the facts. For more info check this out:

i am on potigia 200mg 3 times a day

carbamazepine 200mg 3 times a day

topamax 200 2x day

turned my pee purple and stained my toilet seat. there is a noticeable bell curve when i have to take my meds. if i take them late, or miss them. That can cause a seizure. or let my calories get to low. I am working or eating more, that can cause a seizure. the meds cause me to want to want to sleep more, and insomnia. i am fighting sleep now and in pain.

thank you I appreciate you being honest with me about Potiga.
I'm having enough problems now and I think Tegretol might have helped with my irregular heart beat along with another drug.My neuro wont go for Sabril because of problems it gives can make ur vision worse.
