I'm beginning to think this is a fact

Aura's don't smell good, regardless of what they are. I have never had a nice smelling aura.. plenty of horrible smelling ones though

Can auras smell nice or is it just something we're stuck with. I can't believe the latter, honestly

Hi gina19,

In all the yrs. I've had aura seizures I've never smelled anything nice I always get the smell of natural gas, deviled eggs,
or a burnt odor. One thing I did learn many yrs. ago from my neuro is the moment you feel a aura start tighten up all
the muscles in your body and make your hands into tight fists if you do it fast enough it will stop the seizure. It's worked
great for me many times. I wish you the best of luck and May God Bless You.

Sue

When I have an aura. I’ve never smelled any kind of different odors.
Aura’s are so bizarre

I have never noticed any odor, good or bad, during my auras.
Mine are always visual and spatial. Sometimes feelings of familiar things, someplace or some item, being like I have not experienced it before.

After decades of seizures and having Covid, my sniffer is all wonky. I am not certain there is any correlation to seizures to what smells I pick up. Some of mine sound like yours BuckeyeFan.
Thanks for the tip Sue, if I can just remember that when panic sets in!

I don't remember ever having any smell during an aura

Mine are visual, usually like a strange dream

Auras are fascinating. There’s probably an entire thread about all the different experiences.
I didn’t have one or recognized it for many, many years.
I get a tingling feeling go from the middle of my back and then out almost over my shoulder blades.

I do usually get an aura but my last seizure I dont even remember

It was a tonic colonic instead of my usual partial. I don't think I had a aura?

My better half and my mom can smell mine, I can smell them after the fact, kinda waking up and asking if I had a seizure last night
