I've heard some people reference that NFB can "calm" people down. Someone I know said it took her husband from a Type A person and made him more relaxed and thoughtful, etc. She described this as a positive.

However, I work as a writer, and at times I get ideas from all sorts of places. Places of anger, over analysis, humor, or just an excited "rush" of ideas.

I'm wondering if anybody knows if messing around with NFB can change people in some way that would negatively affect my ability to do my work.

If it relaxed my brain so much that I didn't get inspired in the way I am accustomed, I would look at that as a negative effect.

I realize this site is Pro-NFB, but I'd like to hear what people think good or bad.

Thanks

With my wife, it didn't change her personality at all. It did help her think with more clarity and improve her memory recall. Her mood improved as she felt more confident and her seizures were under control. She was a lot happier.
