This isn't about me, it's about a new client that's just moved in at work (i work with adults with learning disabilities)
We don't have her medical records yet and the people who previously cared for her never mentioned anything about this.
She'll have moments where her eyes roll back into her head and she'll just slump right down. It only lasts about 5 seconds and then she's back "in the room" and looking at us again. It seems to happen more often after she's just done exercise or has got out of the shower. Luckily there is always two people to support her when walking/doing anything so she's never actually fallen to the floor as there's always two of us to catch her.
Does this sound like an atonic (drop) seizure or a fainting episode? We've been keeping track of them on a seizure record but it seems to be taking fooorrreeeevvveeeerrrr to get her medical notes from her previous doctors. She's not on any anti-epileptic medication anyway.
I'm a little worried as it seems to be happening at least once or twice a day.
