The U.S. drug shortage list was updated in October. Most of the drugs are injectables, and I didn't see any of the most-used epilepsy drugs at first glance, but take a longer look and I bet you'll find some that I missed.

There's a menu on the left hand side. It has a link to a list of resolved drug shortages. I was happy to see Oxcarbazepine Oral Suspension (Trileptal) on the list. The shortage ended in October.
There are lots of drugs I know are in short supply and aren't on the list. I guess it's the difference between a little shortage and a critical shortage. I had to wait over a month to get my potassium citrate prescription filled. Walmart simply didn't have it, and neither did any of the other stores. Good thing I had some left over from other months, so I could still take it, just at a reduced dose. Potassium Citrate in tablet form is not on the drug shortage list, nor on the discontinued drug list.
