Okay, this was pretty embarrassing.....I went to the doctor's office the other day because I had an appointment. I waited in line, checked in. The receptionist looked a little puzzled. She said "Your here to see Dr. so and so?" I said yes..(I'm here, right?) She said "That is strange, he doesn't have hours on Thursdays." Uh-oh. I asked her to check the computer. Yep I was in there, but two weeks from then. Man!! Color me red! So I said thank you, tucked my tail between my legs, and left as quietly as possible. Then I got out to the car and thought "what the heck, it IS the Neurologist after all. All the patients are probably a little off"! Just another day......:roflmao:

Even folks without neurological issues do that. Trust me. :)

That's great!!! It sounds exactally like something I'd do and I've almost done it before.

I always wear my robe around the house and when we were getting ready to go to the neruo once I grabbed my robe and put it on instead of my coat, done this many times but I usually figure it out quickly. The last time I did it was on my way to a neuro appt. My husband let me get clear down into the garage and shut the car door and didn't say a thing to me. I realized that I had it on when I couldn't shut the car door because part of the robe was hanging out of it. My husband looked at me and started laughing and said "I wondered how long it was going to take you to figure it out because I wasn't going to tell you"

Wondered what the neuro would have said seeing me sitting there in this nasty old house robe during my appt?

thats not as bad as you think , at least you were at the right doctors office ! about a yr ago i somehow ended up with appointments with 3 different docs in 4 days , i checked , and double checked to make sure i had it right before i left the house the first morning , but i guess i got them mixed up because i showed up at my doctors office set there for 20 mins waiting to be called and when i did get called it was to let me know i was in the wrong place ! so not only was i embarrased there , i had to show up to my other appointment late and explain why i was late ( to the receptionist and a very full waiting room )

lol! :roflmao: I love ye're stories! - I'm in good company so ... I waited an hour in a hotel restaurant for someone for an important business meeting a whole month early! I still got the contract, but I was so embarassed when I rang wondering where she was and then re-checked my diary!
