I was asked to post this from a new member, Emily.

There is now a Epilepsy Support Group near where I live. It is great to have others to talk to who understand. That is one reason I am glad about this website.
The local group I am in is ran by the Epilepsy Awareness from Greater Cincinnati. We had a local Raising Epilepsy Awareness Conference and Raising Epilepsy Awareness 5K last weekend.
I was on the local news cast the day before while it was being announced about the events that were coming up. The reason I wanted to mention it on here is because of the service dog I have for my seizures. She is a seizure alert dog and I was interviewed about her for the local news. I am providing the link if anyone would like to see it. If anyone has any questions about the service dog and where I received her, just let me know.
