I guess it's technically a petit mal, but I call them "blips". Anyhow, most of the time when I have a blip my right ear rings and I hear the same song. I always recognize the song but immediately forget it when the blip is over.

Does this happen to anyone else? And if so, has anyone ever realized which song it was?
 
Auditory hallucinations are pretty common from what I've read. I hear telephones ringing right as I go into a seizure. Always telephones. That's interesting that yours is an actual song.
 
Every once in a while the hearing in my one ear will suddenly 'shut off', and then immediately it is followed by a short ring. Are you telling me these are seizures?
