I have epilepsy and currrently on Tegretol CR side effects extreme tiredness. I am asking for any experience with LYRICA (Pregabliam) for my sister. She has not got epilepsy but has a ruptured disk in her neck and the Dr prescribed it for severe nerve pain. Tegretol was an option for her but her Dr prescribed this so she would not experience tiredness. She is a single mother and i am hoping it doesnt have to many hidden nasties.
I would be most gratful for any input to help her.

I take Lyrica for nerve damage. It does help with nerve pain with little side effects. The only side effect I have is it makes you feel hungry so you get some weight gain. Both neuro and general doc said Lyrica is not effective seizure med and so the drug company only promotes it for nerve pain.

It made me quite dizzy for the first few days I was taking it, but it really helps with my nerve pain.
