Anyone ever have a falling dream? When I was younger I used to have this dream all the time where I was falling and falling and falling and falling. It was pretty scary. It came with the physical sensation of falling and everything.

yeah I had these well scary and I was always on a swing in a playpark, being pushed by some unknown man, then Id go on the slide and towards the bottom of the slide id wake up but jump up in bed, another one is I was sort of flying down the stairs and there was loads of weird moving pictures on the wall, few times I actually woke at the bottom of the stairs with my quilt over me!! wierd

I've had the flying up and down the stairs too. Was it before or after you could walk up or down the stairs by yourself. With me it was when I was too little to go up and down all by myself.

I was three, we hadn't long moved into that house so was no carpets yet so wasn't allowed up and down by myself

Mad what you can remember thinking about it, yet I keep forgetting what I want too type into google!!

Do you know thaqt feeling when you are "falling" asleep and it feels like you are falling?
I used to feel that and jerk myself awake because I was scared that I was going into a seizure(I can tell when they are coming on).
I used to not sleep because of it! That feeling would kill me!!!
I am glad I am not alone!

I have had those falling dreams, but not too often any more. A common one for me now is to be on a high place or a steep cliff. Somewhere high and dangerous. I have a horrible feeling of vertigo and danger but I don't think I actually fall. Some days after I have vivid dreams of that nature I feel almost post-ictal, so I think they may be like a partial sz for me.
