I am feeling great, although I am still sleepy I am in a much better mood and my tongue is now almost better. A friend stopped by and hung out a while last night, it was nice talking to another adult in person. They also brought along a little something to help me sleep ;-)
Yesterday morning wasn't so pleasant, I was scheduled to have a 24 hr EEG (something about having a box GLUED to my head wtf???). I took 2 mg of xanax in the waiting room as I arrived at 10:45 A.M. because I was pretty nervous. 2 hrs later, I was pretty annoyed because not only did I have to wait so long, but this new doctor had run out of the special glue he needed and I had to wait for him to come back from a nearby doctor's office. I ended up getting an attitude with him for being so late and unprepared, all I really wanted was an apology, but he gave me an attitude back and said I could reschedule my appt. I jumped up and left, saying I'd find a competent doctor (talk about me overreacting!). When I got home, however, I picked up my appt cards from my desk and realized my appointment was actually at 12...I do have a 10:45 appt in a couple weeks...so really he wasn't THAT late, only 45 mins...I feel kind of bad for flipping out, but my usual doctor got wind of what happened and called and said I did the right thing (he must not like this guy's attitude either). He said he was going to send me to Chapel Hill, N.C. for a "better" test that will take 3 days...anyone ever undergone any testing that took that long? For some reason I always forget my list of questions for the doc and I always draw a blank when I'm actually talking to him.
