Sometimes I have that FEELING that deja uv is about to come on, but it doesn't.

This feeling hits me (I will say) not an intense feeling, kinda like I just sense it. It doen't progress into deja uv.

I have notice it alot, I think to myself --BE TANKFUL

Just wanting to know if anyone else has this feeling.

I get that sometimes too. My E is in the RTL near the memory centre I believe so my sp's always start as deja vu. Often when I'm having auras that don't quite go into full sp's it feels like I'm almost going to get a deja vu..

My E. is TLE of the right side. How did find out that your is near the memory center, if don't me asking.

I asking because my memory has gotten really bad. I've burned food for example.
I have an appt. with neur. next month and I'm going to have to tell her how bad my memory has gotten.

My neur. back in spring of last year said it was due to being on dilantin for so long, but in reading other post that are not on dilantin they have memory problems

As...you can see I change subjects SORRY.

I was told by my neurologist, after studying my MRI, that my brain scarring is in the RTL. Near the part where long term memory is stored, so that explains the deja vu sensations I guess.

My memory is terrible too. If it wasn't for the check marks beside topics I've replied to, I'd likely forget that we had this conversation..

I think it's just AED's in general that can cause memory problems. I'm on lamictal and it's sure doing a number on me. It's starting to make my job rather difficult as I rely on my memory a lot.

No need to apologize. :)

i get this alot! its that kinda de ja fu feeling but not the actual thing.... and everytime i get it i think i have had a sezure at this time when its happened b4 if u know ehat i mean lol

and my memory is so so so bad that even after a convo with someone i have totally forgot what they said, i cant keep any dates i make sure i write them all down

I know what you mean about conserv. that I just through with. I have being making notes. I can not find my notes sometimes..example, I put them in a safe place while I'm cleaning countertops or desk tops.

im getting that lately. its almost like the memory of a seizure, its weird, ive put it down to my meds working, ive only been on meds for 4 months so i cant say but the last fews seizure episodes ive had have been just that. i feel it coming on but it doesnt quite get there, and there is no intense fear which is great cause that was the worst part. like you im thankful its not the usual. hope its the meds and not a new seizure but because its not bad i like to think its a decrease in symptoms
