I had my appointment with epitologist on Monday at Stanford Hospital and after I showed her my personal videos of my episodes and info, and even had an episode during the appointment, she diagnosed me with frontal lobe partial seizures. She has me on Oxcarbazepine starting with 150mg and upping the dosages every few weeks along with the clonazepam, which she will want me to ween off of. The oxycarbezine makes me a feel a lil drowsy, but we'll see how it works out for me.

They didn't have my EEG in my file, so she has to hunt that down and may have to take another MRI or EEG if it's not sufficient for her.

So at least we are finally working on it!! Now is the worry about health care because i still don't' know how long I will be out of work for since I only have 3 months of leave available.

Sounds like things are moving in the right direction! I hope the Oxcarbazepine works well for you. If you want to search for posts about it here at CWE, it's also called "Trileptal" so you may want to search under that name as well.
