I finally have a neurologist located in a specialty clinic next to Brakenridge Hospital. It's taken 7 months to locate one here in Austin.. good Lord! I won't be able to be seen until November which is a while from now! So my doctor told me to go to ER and this time, really go. I confessed that I have had a few seizures and didn't go because I am stubborn. She said next time I have one to go no matter what. This I don't look forward too but they might be able to get some kind of help until I see my new neurologist.

My primary care doctor has been helpful in keeping my meds going that my neurologist in Oklahoma has me on. I was really terrified thinking that I would have to get off meds, find a new doctor, and start all over again. But I don't and things worked out better than I thought. Just locating a neurologist here in Austin with medicaid isn't happening as fast as it used to.

Anyways, this brings some relief knowing that I have a neurologist now in the same city I live in.
(Sarcastic- Now, how to not have seizures until November? :)

Take care everyone
