So happy to find this forum. I have sensory seizures. Heat, smells (perfumes and cologne can be killer), drop in sugar levels and any kind of strobe light can really screw me up. When I do have a seizure, it sounds like all the blood in my body is roaring in my ears, cannot talk and I go slack and sweat very heavily but, I am aware of everything that is going on around me.

I have been on Keppra XR 1500 mg daily for the last two years and am very happy with it. I don't feel drugged during the day at work. Would like to know if anyone else out there has these same symptoms.

Hi Jayne,

I don't have sensory seizures, but I just wanted to welcome you to the forum. I know other CWE members do experience those symptoms, andwill chime in. You can also search for info on specific topics using the "search" tab in the bar at the top.
