Do any of you have trouble with watching your screen scroll up or down? Like, get the same feeling as you do with flickering or flashing lights? When I have a bad headache, I can't stand to watch my computer screen scroll up or down too quickly.

What do you guys do about this?

I don't get it with computers because I have my scroll and mouse speed set slower. You can change it under your control panel.

But I do get it with things like guitar hero or rockband

I'm using an iPad, which helps because I caan control how fast the scroll is, but sometimes, when I need to get the to the top of my tumblr blog and I'm down REALLY far, I have to scroll up fast because I'm impatient. ;) Just wondering if anyone else gets this.

How are you doing, friend? I missed you. Truly. *hug* I know you've been back on here for a while, but I never really got a chance to give you a welcome back hug, so there you have it. :)

Aw thank you!

Have you tried googling what the short cut is on the ipad to get to the top? On my cell phone I hit T for Top, B for bottom. And can scroll slowly if needed.

No, I haven't tried that... I think I may have discovered it accidentally, though. I think if I touch the top of the page, it will bring me to the top, but I don't know how to get to the bottom. Thanks for the tip!

Oh, did you see my other thread? I haven't had a seizure since the end of March!

Flickering/flashing lights are my main trigger. Even just the normal computer screen will give me seizures. The way my dad explained it when I was a teen was that if you see a computer screen on TV, you can see it sort of "scrolling/flashing" regularly. Apparently our brain can see that!

Not too fun. I am soooo light sensitive in general. I currently have pink eye so I cant wear contacts...or sunglasses. Ive been kinda stuck inside. Bright lights HURT my eyes and give me small blackouts.

Aw, MAN! If I didn't have my sunglasses, I'd be in pain ALL THE TIME! So sorry to hear about that. You're on antibiotics, though, right? Those antibiotic eyedrops hurt soooo bad!

I actually researched a bit and talked to a doctor friend who recommended waiting it out. He said most cases will go away on their own. I'm in the camp of "no antibiotics unless absolutely necessary!" so Ive been waiting it out. The infection seems mostly gone after 4 days, so I plan on putting contacts back IN and sunglasses ON!!
Im the person that wears sunglasses even when its cloudy, so this has been ROUGH!! Glad to know there are others who share my pain. (well, not glad that you share my pain, but glad someone else gets it!)

quick scrolling screens is something that bothers me too! I am also in the sunglasses no matter what the sky looks like camp :)
