I'm happy to help with vocabulary, but the important thing to remember is that YOU are the customer of the insurance company, so if you demand neurofeedback, they will eventually cover it. We (as the provider) can jump up and down and yell all we want for coverage, and the insurance companies won't listen. But when the customers ask for it, then it happens.
Currently most neurofeedback providers simply can't offer insurance billing because the insurance only pays a tiny fraction of what it costs to offer the service. If their prices are at all reasonable, it's very hard to live on a 70% pay cut in order to accept reimbursement from the insurance company.
