Whenever I get a fright it feels like glass is stabbing my brain. Anyone else get this? I have found it strange that all my life instead of saying "AAAAH" I put my hand to my head and say "ow!" Sounds funny... but it isn't really. I get an awful lot of migraines too. I haven't seen any kind of specialist. My doctor hasn't referred me to anyone as yet.

Not until after. Occasionally I get a very odd pain *hard to describe, but like glass jabbing into my brain and the other point is into the inside of my skull* its usually around my right temple or brow bone area.

But when I get fear seizures there isn't much I can do at the time because I'm frozen in terror.

I used to get a lot of fear seizures. Followed by a migraine. The glass stabbing thing is a type of migraine.

Are most of your headaches postictal? (mine were) If they are, as soon as you get your seizures under control, your headaches will be under control too.

You said you haven't seen a specialist. Are you seeing just your primary care physician? Or a neurologist? I'm guessing not an epi?

Just my primary care physician at present. She hasn't referred me anywhere yet as she only just decided that it probably isn't PTSD related seizures all the time and that I do actually have epilepsy. She will refer me soon. But here... it will be a long time before I see anyone. Our health system is a joke.
