frustrated sz's are increasing don't know why?

My sz's are increasing and I'm fed-up and don't know why there increasing??
I'm having nocturnal sz's and my hubby I don't know if he noticed the one I had last night , but I was kinda asleep kinda not.I really can't explain itI think it was a sp seizure that I had though.
I've just left a message for my neuro with his secretary so I'll be hearing from him.I'll ask him if he wants me to increase the Fycompa.:twocents:
 
I talked to my neuro , he called a few minutes after 5:00 and he upped my Fycompa by 2MG so now I am taking 4MG at bedtime.
 
Belinda5000, you are having a heat wave, could that be the reason you are having seizures.

Heat waves and high humidity cause me to have seizures. I am glad that your neurologist got right back to you!!

I don't know why I'm having seizures either. Hang in there, I'm sure it will work out in the end :)

I wouldn't call what's going on here a heat wave it's been in the 70's to 80's lately with 80% humidity. It's nothing I can't handle, and I stay inside with the a/c going.

I increase my dose tonight of Fycompa
I do hope this helps with my sz's and I go back to just 1 a month or less.

I'm refractory I've never been controlled 6 months. I just want some time in my life not have to worry I might seize it's been my entire life since I was 2 years epilepsy has.
 
Belinda, I don't know if this will be of help, but I too have notice my seizures changing. I have notice I now (just started) have a low tolerance for caffeine.

caffeine I know that's not it because I don't drink coffee,tea, and have one coke a week because of my heart caffeine is a no-no.
being refractory doesn't help at all my seizures come on for any reason.
 
I have read that chocalate can cause problems. I have had to cut out chocolate, that was hard.
