Hi ,
Sorry I am not a good speller . I am mad lately that I have seizures . I relize that others have it worse than me . It is just that I have no friends and I'm 41 . I can't participate in anything because of the lighting and computers which even now is hurting my eyes badly . I have never driven and I know I won't ever be able to due to my seizures . My mom and dad will call me from the grocery store and ask if I need anything . All I have is them . My family members are all married and have kids so they never call me . I just wishI could get up and go out on my own with out my parents . Thank goodness I don't live with them . I am just getting in a bad mood because I am home by myself all day ,everyday .
 
Can you get out and go for walks (when the weather's less nippy)? Or ride a bike? Are there any volunteer organizations you could join? Sometimes they have resources for picking people up. Is there a "RideOn bus" or something similar you could take?

I know the photosensitivity makes things harder. Have you tried polarizing sunglasses -- sometimes those can help.
 
Hi Jenn, I am feeling very much like a shut in right now as well. I do not own a car and rely on others for the necessities in life as well as companionship. I think it's ok to be angry sometimes and we need to allow ourselves the right to be. If you ever want to chat on the phone, let me know :)

I wish I lived in cal. , it is freezing here . I hate the snow . Where abouts in cal. do u live ?
 
I just watched the weather and you guys are getting some cold!! I live in Apple Valley (sounds nicer than it is, believe me haha) It's in southern cal, in the high desert. We have been around 17 degrees when I get up to feed the horses in the morning but lately it has been a nice, 60 during the day. We're supposed to get rain the next few days.

Before the sz's I rode my motorcycle all over New York. I love the state, it's beautiful. I went to Buffalo to eat wings. Went to Syracuse to party at an Irish Pub called Kitty Hoynes because I read they were 100% authentic. And went to the City to watch Phantom before they moved. Wonderful memories... that seem another life now.

It's nice that you can get out to work with the horses . I have been to la, san deiago , and my cousins live in cuppertino . It's nice there . I also have family in arizona . They live in gilbert . Hope u have a nice day . jenn
 
Hi Jenn, I have a horse rescue and our local animal control called yesterday saying they seized 3 horses from starvation. 1 had to be euthenized but we took in 2 this morning. Very skinny but they will recover nicely.

So, between L.A. and San Diego which was your favorite?

Im sorry its so frustrating . I won't say anything except hopefully you feel better soon!

I dont know too much, but we just got a mini-weenie dog last year and he is a wonderful little friend. When my girls and husband are off doing whatever he just sits on my lap or we go for walks. I love him!
If you can be on the computer, i like playing hanging with friends on my Droid. Im up for a game. :)
