I'm getting my QEEG on Saturday to start my neurofeedback efforts. I'm new at this. Has anyone done that recently? Any tips on best practices, etc?
Thanks in advance!

Where in NY are you going? I had one done there (I go to NYU). I found it beneficial to assist with the beginning of neurofeedback. Relax, enjoy and know that even though you're hooked up to something you're starting to retrain your brain to relax and deal with all of life's stressors WITHOUT the need to pass out.---LMT

Great to hear about the relaxing perspective of it all. I'm going to an independent woman PhD near Union Square for the QEEG. Then I'll probably go to The Brain Clinic for the neurofeedback treatment. They seem to have good experience with epilepsy. Thanks again for the positive attitude. :)

Rebecca did not have the QEEG, so I don't have anything to offer with that.
I do know that Neurofeedback has been a huge part of her healing efforts. She remains seizure free for three months now.

Don't forget to keep a journal and write down anything that you notice out of the ordinary, even something minor as not being able to fall asleep. This matters.
