She will be getting 2 cards from Ireland, guaranteed. Such a beautiful little girl deserves to know she is thought of.

Thank you CathyAnn31

I saw this story on our local news. It showed them taking her to her local post office and receiving postal bins full of cards from around the world. They provided her address, too. So I wrote it down and out goes the card. My heart goes out to her. She has a long road to recovery...... enough to suffer from burns, but to lose family on top of that.... she deserves more than cards!! Hope ya'll remember her next year and the following years.....

Dolder mentioned a 5-year-old boy in Hong Kong who sent Sa’fyre his favorite teddy bear with a note that said “Let’s be friends.” The family will be sending the teddy bear back to him along with a “friend” so the bear doesn’t get “lonely” on the long trip.

Just today, Sa’fyre received about 195,000 letters and cards and more than 3,000 packages, Schenectady Post Master John Reilly told ABC News. It took two 2-ton mail trucks and a rented cargo truck to deliver the mail to the family, he said.

This has been a good lift for holiday spirits. Hopefully it can continue throughout the year and world.

Wow! It's so nice to hear about things like this.

Its just what you need is some good news.

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – The surprises keep coming for Sa’fyre Terry, receiving holiday cheer from all around the globe.

On Thursday there was a parade escort by Santa Claus, police officers, postal inspectors, and crowds of other well-wishers all setting off from the post office, walking to her house with the latest shipment of holiday greetings.

So far, the post office estimates Sa’fyre has received more than 400,000 cards and 10,000 packages.

Sources close to her family say she is going to donate a lot of her gifts to homeless children and cancer patients.

:) Now if others could do the same, everyone could have a nice Christmas.

Sa'fyre Terry has gotten Christmas cards from all over the world.

Now she's gotten a surprise gift from University at Albany students. Sa'fyre's Facebook post says students have been working on a hand for Sa'fyre.

They visited her Tuesday with the 3D printed hand. In a video posted on Facebook, she picked up a cup within an hour of having the hand.

Students took the hand back to tweak it a bit. Sa'fyre should have it back in a few days.

Support for Sa'fyre, severely burned in an arson that killed her dad and siblings, started when she made a wish to get enough Christmas cards to fill a small tree.

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – A little girl from Schenectady has received a special Christmas card from the White House.

Sa’fyre Terry was the only survivor of a 2013 arson that took the lives of her father and three siblings. She also suffered severe burns over most of her body.

A couple days ago they had a police escorted convoy of mail trucks delivering mail to her.
She also went to see the P.A.L. sponsored Holiday Lights in the Park in a limo with some of her friends.

Now this is Christmas at it's best. Well done.
