So looking forward to it (sarcasm intended ) , we'll be heading north monday morning and i'll be admitted in the afternoon . I guess im as prepared as I can be , but im starting to get really nervous and dreading the whole thing . I'll probably be on here non-stop so try and ignore my whining & complaining !! I'm just hoping that it will all be worth it in the end , maybe they will find something that works for me so i can live a "normal" life again . So wish me luck .....

Good luck! I hope you're bringing things to keep you entertained while you're hooked up.

Best of luck! Don't forget to download Words with Friends. You can play scrabble all day!

I had mine done in March, and I brought magazines, my laptop, some writing and drawing stuff, etc. I mainly only used my laptop on the first day, and a few times through out the rest of the stay, due to how tired and out of it I was the last three days of my stay there. having seizures make you feel so tired and weak. Besides eating, watching tv, and my lap top, thats all I had the energy to do. Good Luck!

Yep,besr of luck from over here lovemyladybug, hope evrything workss out.

Hi, lovemyladybug,

The eeg will be okay. Everything will be okay. I second the thought that bordom is the worst part. There are some things that are good to take. I agree entertaining things are important. Some hospitals have even more things than wireless internet. Some have online gaming where you can remotely play games with other patients, DVD players, movies on demand, etc. Here's a thread to look at:
