After dealing with the neuro ive had since November 2010, Im finally done with him! He's no use to me! So I found another neuro, and Im scheduled to see them on wednesday morning at 8am. Since Jan 21st, it feels like my life has been upside down. saturday was the worst of them yet... I had two seizures in front of my grandparents, aunt and mom. I just wanted out of the house, and my mom came over to ask if I wanted to visit my grandparents. I thought it would do me some good to get out. Little did I know that was going to happen. I came home, feeling horriable, bad headache, tired.... then three more occurs at home that night. :( since then, my head is feeling like a complete bomb has gone off.

The soonest they could get me into this new neuro was on wednesday. so til then, Im going to try my best to rest and take it easy.
 
Good!! Good luck! That's pretty soon to get in, so don't feel too discouraged ;) When I tried to make an appointment it wasn't scheduled for 3 MONTHS.
 
WOW! That is a long time! I dont think I would be able to wait that long! Im just wanting this to all go away!
 
Good luck. My neuro was booked from Early Dec until Mid Feb. So I have two more weeks. =) Good luck though.
 
That seems pretty average around here. Either that or the Office Manager is allowed to turn you away. I fucking hate this. I feel ya sister. I feel ya. Hang in there mama!!
 
I glad to hear you drop that Neur. I hope this one will listen to you and give you the help you need.

Thanks Cint! This is a neuro in the same office as I saw years ago. Like back in the early 2000's. Its a different neuro, which was recommended by my primary care dr. They have one main neuro office here in town, but I see they have other neuros located at the local hospital medical plazas here too. But since my primary care dr recommended this dr, i wanted to check him out and see how he 'flows' with things. Im praying to god he is a good neuro! :)
 
I hope this goes well. I had to wait 3 months to get in to see my neuro the first time. Let us know how it goes.
 
Yeah I was for sure suprised that they could get me in that soon! My mom thinks it was becuase of the referral my primary care dr sent over. But I honestly dont care how I got so damn lucky at getting the appointment... Im just glad i can be seen so I can hopefully get some answers and relief!
 
Can you get results and stuff sent over so you don't have to totally have to start from scratch?
 
Yeah I will bring that up on wednesday to them. For now, Id like to just go over the fact that since the VEEG, Ive tried the Lamictal and Vimpat, and both didnt work. The vimpat caused too many depression moods, crying non stop, even when the dose was cut in half... and I had a severe reaction to the Lamictal. So I know those two medications are out, if they needed to add a "add on" medication to the Keppra XR. I do know that during last week when the neuro in Omaha said to add the extra keppra tablet, the auras I had during the day went away, and then I took my evening dose, like usual.. but the next day I was back to the original dose, and the auras and seizures then started back up again. But I want them to see what kind of neuro I had prior to seeing this new one, and if they want the VEEG results from March 2011, I can either sign a form there at the new neuros office, for them to release those to them, or call up the medical dept at the old neuro;s office and get that signed. Either way, It would be nice to see if they could repeat a standard EEG since its been almost two years that Ive been only on one anti seizure medication. My mom is thinking that the keppra just isnt going to hold me, But she said we would find out more at the appointment.
