timid and shy and introverted

While I have grown a bit in the last few years, I am an introvert. I am always conscious of what other people are thinking. Probably cuz every kid in our town would rat me out for anything, and I would never hear the end of it.

I go with extreme

Definitely extreme. A lot of what birdbomb said relates to me: I go at everything 100%, I say what I think (although tactfully and with caution for feelings), and I will work at something until I can figure out how it will work for me. Basically, I don't ever want to walk away from a situation wishing I had said/done something differently.

Couldn't that also be considered anal?:ponder:

I go with out spoken, I speak my mind about things.
People seem to like that about me.

I didn't see smart-a$$, just the right amount of crazy, goofy, or dorky, so I chose zany...

Definately not outspoken, but not timid or shy either. When it comes to random observations, I am the queen. Spelling errors make me laugh (especially the wrong use of there, their, they're), I don't know why. I have been known to spontaneously bust out into song, (no, not post-ictal)--the best part of this one is that when I start the lyrics of a song, my best friend will finish them for/with me. It seems that I also lack the filter between what I think and what I say...(but I'm nice about it). Oh, and corny humor is my specialty.

You sure this can't be multiple choice?

As much as I try to be tactful and considerate of other people's feelings, I would still have to say that the best word to describe me is not on your list. :D

If I had to choose, I am more like outspoken, quiet, or extrovert. All depends who I am with or talking to. Or how long I have known that person. But out of all if I had to pick one. It would be quiet.

Outspoken describes me to a T. I am not afraid to talk about things most people would rather bury if it is relevant to the conversation. I am in no way mean-spirited about what I say, but I am direct and to-the-point in a compassionate kind of way.

I have docked myself as witty. I make
people laugh all the time and they tell
me I am witty.

:)

Yeah. People tend to agree that i am witty , although some have pegged me as "introverted" or "quiet" or "crude" or "obnoxious" , the general consensus has been "witty". Why isn't there an option for "all of the above" ?
I'm outspoken about some things , zany about others , witty for the most part and crude about fixing electronics ( love taking things apart but can't be bothered to put em back together). My crowning glory was building my own computer from scratch. (died within 3 years , but there you go)

It seems like we generally handle this disorder with humor. It lightens the burden on our heart and it makes others more comfortable around us.

The harsh treatment is just slightly easier to deal with when we can think of some witty remark to humiliate a bigot.

I would say I'm quiet until somebody hits my limit. Then they may get a smart remark that they never knew would come out of me.

Of the available list ...

I think people would say I am an extrovert, mostly because I am involved in many activities and am willing to talk to just about anyone. However, that is the superficial level and I rarely revealed my personal side until the last few years.

If the choice were available, I think others would label me as logical and conservative in many ways.

would this happen to be you?
Live Long and Prosper?

:pfft:

I am a true extrovert. I like to get straight to the point. I love a good debate. But I love to help people , I love kids, I embarrass my own child. He asked me today if I loved him. And I said "of course I do.Why are you asking me so many times today?" He said "because you love everybody." Cool huh? But I do love to be in the middle of everything.

I'm labeling myself extroverted...because, well, I am. ;)

I've also been called crude, zany, and (not to my face...call it a "gut feeling") I've been called obnoxious.

It's all good though...because I am who I am. :agree:

Mostly they say I'm timid, than shy,
and I'm mainly quiet.

But I see myself as witty and zany.

Hey Brain, where did the quiet bit come from??? last week I couldn't get a word in edgeways :roflmao:

I don't think that there is a word on this planet that can describe me!!!! Well so my family and friends say, they think I am from a different dimension.

Everyone is always at a loss on how to cope with me, apparently I am the life and soul of the party, it has been rumoured that not even the worlds biggest gob stopper will shut me up.

But my thoughts are I am extremely quiet and wouldn't say boo to a ghost :roflmao: NOT

Hmmm.....

My hubby and his family would probably say I'm quiet and an introvert. But, as my hubby has told me, that's more so now since I've lost some of my hearing. Myself, I guess I keep things to myself and tend to be quiet. I dont' like a lot of noise and I read alot. However, I tend to be stubborn about certain things and have no problems stating my opinion. :)
