It's my grandma's 82nd birthday today!

This woman is the greatest in the world! She's been there for me anytime that I've needed her no questions asked, espically now that I have epilepsy even more. I've been there for her too any time that she needs me.

We talk on the phone every day for at least an hour if not more. The family doesnt' know what we can talk about for so long every day and to be honest neither do I. I think that both of our memorys are starting to go, so it's probably the same thing over and over each day:roflmao:

She lives next door and can't drive so we spend time doing little things together. Last Easter we colored easter eggs together (I'm 33 by the way!)

We just do things that are fun and things that we did together and talk about things that we've done together when I was a little kid. I find us talking about things now that I never though I'd be talking to grandma with, but I guess when you get older you've got to tell someone your secrets that you know won't tell.

I'm going to be there for her forever and I know that she will be there for me too. I don't know what I'd do with out her!

Happy Birthday Grandma!

I am the one in the family who is so blessed to care for my mother who is 86. She needs total care in turning, caring for her feeding tube and colostomy, and bringing her all the seed catalogs she is so OCD passionate about. She is having the most fun planning our garden with all the heirloom vegetables and flowers. I wonder how they will all fit in our yard! Those of you who are also care-givers know how special it is to fetch those catalogs and have the fun of planning that garden together. You have reminded me to enjoy it all even more. Thanks, Valeriedl. :elephant::yippee::elephant::yippee::elephant:

What a wonderful celebration.
I miss my grandmothers. It would have been fun to have them around since I became an adult.
