Hi Tracy, welcome to the forum. :hello:

Make yourself at home here. :)

Hi Tracy, welcome to CWE. There's a lot of information here about traditional treatments as well as alternative treatments for epilepsy. The people here are great too, they'll answer your questions or just listen to you blow off steam if you need to. :)

I'm 27 and have 3 kids. I've had seizures since I was 20. I also have complex partials that are almost always followed by tonic clonics. When my c/p's start, they get closer and closer together and last longer and longer until I have a t/c. Once I have the t/c, I'm in a state of status--the cycle of c/p's and t/c's will continue until I get to the hospital and they pump me full of AEDs. Fortunately, my seizures are well controlled with my meds.

I hope you like it here.

Welcome and Howdy from Texas.
Been to Oz several years ago...love it! People there are friendly like Texas but talk a little funny....like I don't!
I have just been diagnosed this year. This place is a godsend.

Hi Tracy - Glad you joined us.
I have three kids and the youngest has been dealing with Tonic Clonic for the past 2 yrs. She is 16. We just celebrated our first month seizure free, unmedicated.

I do hope you find some alternatives to try, after reading the suggestions in the forum library. It has been a wealth of info for me, and a place where I can throw out many different ideas.

I hope you find the support you need to manage your life better.

Hi Tracy!

And welcome to CWE!! Mr B (Bernard) has made a wonderful home for us here. I'm sure you're going to like it. Stick around, kick up your heels. Buckeye should be around with some coffee soon.......

Australia, huh? Sounds neat. My middle child, and oldest son, is living at home again so he can save up money so he can go study bioalternative fuels over there for a year.

How long have you had E? I've had it since I was 13 months, and I'm going on 44, though I quite often will claim to be, um, 21.........:roflmao::roflmao:

Take care......

Meetz

Hi! I am 27, I've had complex partial seizures since I was 14 (that I can put a finger on with hindsight), but wasn't diagnosed until I was 22 when I had a big seizure. I am a single mum with 3 kids. My eldest has also been diagnosed recently with Epilepsy. (although I've been trying to tell the docs for 2 years!). I thought I would say a proper hello!!

Welcome Tracy! This is a fantastic group. :) So feel free to ask any questions, chime in, or just vent if you need to. :)
