My daughter had a breakthrough TC in the shower. We'd become lax about her locking the door as she has had no seizure activity to speak of since going on meds last summer, so my husbands had to break it down to get to her.
Feel the need for a wee vent. She won't contemplate putting her meds back up a little because it affects her at school and it's a crucial time there at the moment. She missed work yesterday and I'm not sure how that's going to go as they were horrible in her previous job - even though the manager's sister has E.
She was asking last night "why me?". How do you answer that? I know other people's experiences of E are so much worse but didn't feel last night was the time to mention that.
She didn't dwell on it though and my heart breaks for her. It was a reminder that if she tries to be a normal teenager (party and not enough sleep the night before) there can be consequences.
Meanwhile I'm back to being freaked out by the whole head injury thing.
My husband was diagnosed with a pituitary tumour on Friday so it's not been a great weekend. That should be fine (surely?) but he has to have a biopsy next week.
I've probably got a touch of the "why us-es" myself. Sorry, just needed to let all that out.
