Mum and I finally found some paperwork from 1990. It's correspondence between my doctors when I was a child. Amongst other epilepsy bits and pieces it states "Dr Dow reported her EEG serial number **** 4/12/1990 as an active epileptic recording of centro-encephalic epilepsy".

"Naomi's recent EEG has shown a marked deterioration since that reported as normal in 1988 with frequent high voltage sharp and slow wave complexes bilaterally, and only a poor response to photic stimulation" Tonic clonics suspected.

It also states that the doctors believe I may have abdominal epilepsy??? or benign rolandic epilepsy. They also talk about reflex anoxic seizures. I don't know what this means (google here I come) but at least I did have a positive EEG reading as a kid! This has got to help when I see the Epileptologist tomorrow! Hopefully we are one step closer to getting this finally sorted out.

Yes it is tmrw CQ;). I got an earlier appointment due to a cancellation! I can't wait but i'm also a bit nervous. She sounds highly qualified though. I was in the process of replying to your last PM and my internet dropped out. I have my reply saved on my desktop, i'll send it through now if I haven't already! (goldfish memory)

Thats great news that you found all that helpful information! Keep us updated on how your appointment goes tomorrow! :)
