Came in from walking the dog, went to take my coat of an had a seizure. A massive one that lasted 2 minutes. Went to a&e to get checked to see if the ear infection I've had for 3 weeks brought it on. Proper tonic clonic. They said it's my epilepsy back so going back to my neurologist. Got bumps on my head where I banged my head, a black eye from banging that.

That sucks. I've had several seizures today, as usual, but my seizures are typically simple partial seizures so nothing major happens except my head shakes a bit for a second or two.

Infections can lower the seizure threshold, so you may be right that the ear infection was a trigger. Hope you get nacl on track soon.

Take it very eaay this weekend, let yourself heal, both from the seizure and from the ear infection.

:hugs:

I had a very bad ear infection a few years ago and wound up going to the ER then admitted to the hospital for a few days because I was having very bad seizures.

Hope you get feeling better soon!

It was a massive one. Buddy the dog was just looking at me like what are you doing mum. He'd be a rubbish zeisure alert dog. Very sore today from the injuries I got.
