I've never done halloween & never carved a pumpkin. I thought it would be cool to see some different pumpkins which have been carved at halloween.

Here are some that my American friend has done over the years.

Nice! I don't have the patience myself to carve anything fancy...

Nice!!!

I usually do a fancy one, but I also usually start carving 2-3 days before. This year I've put it off.

I know what a punkin is but never carved one. Those are brilliant though I wish I could do something like that

Those are neat! :) We dont do them that nice, but we do the usual carving pumpkin faces! LOL I will have to post some pics of the kids with their pumpkins! :)

Just waiting for the kids to get home from school, do homework and get their halloween costumes on, to head over to the grandparents, eat some yummy soup and rolls, and head out for trick or treating!

Happy Halloween everyone. :)

Those pumpkins are so cool. People sure spend time doing them now a days.

I'm with Kristin, just the traditional jack-o-lanterns here. Which reminds me, we need to get busy since we haven't done them yet. I'm a slacker. :p

My American friend said she used a pattern to carve the pumpkins, with or without a pattern I still think theyre pretty cool.
I'm sure I wouldn't have much luck carving a pumpkin, even with a pattern. I'd be more likely to hack at it :roflmao:.

I know what a pumpkin is but never carved one.

I'm the same Fedup, never carved a pumpkin, don't think I ever seen one carved lol.
I once told my American friend that we eat pumpkins & can make different things out of a pumpkin eg - baked, mashed, soup or steamed. She thought we were crazy :roflmao:.

A pumkin is another persons squash. (those are my not so wise words of the day :))

Thanks for posting the pics :) I love carving pumkins! I made one with Courious Georges face for my nephew. Shockingly it actually looked like him!

Yes your squashes look like what us Aussies call a butternut pumpkin.
The pumpkins used for the jack o lanterns look like a normal pumpkin :roflmao:. The curious George pumpkin sounds cool.
