It’s my birthday today, and I can’t help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude for being here to celebrate it. Living with epilepsy has been a journey full of challenges, countless hospital visits, near-death experiences, and moments of fear and uncertainty. But through it all, I’ve found strength in the support of communities like this one and the resilience that I didn’t even know I had.
Every year feels like a milestone, a victory over the odds, and a reminder that life, no matter how unpredictable or difficult, is worth cherishing. Thank you to everyone who has supported me in one shape or form. Thank you.
To those of you struggling, whether it’s with medication side effects, memory loss, sleepless nights, or the mental toll this condition brings, I want you to know that you’re not alone. We’re all fighting our battles, and we’re still here, stronger than we give ourselves credit for.
