Thinking back over the last few times Stacy has been transported to the ER, I wanted to ask the CWE community if they have had similar experiences.

Have you ever aspirated (had fluid go into the lungs) after having a seizure while secured on your back on a stretcher (in an ambulance or in the ER)? Perhaps with an oxygen mask aiding in redirecting saliva/spit back into your mouth?

I haven't, but I guess I was at risk for it a couple months back. I had went to ER because I went Status and got transferred to a hospital an hour away. I was unconcious for 2 days (I had hit my head quite a few times during the seizure), but the day I woke up a specialist came in to make sure I hadn't aspirated.

In 20+/- years I have been on a stretcher one time and while I do not remember it, my roommate and friends know exactly what happened... Paramedics made sure my seizure was past before doing what they needed to do when getting me in the ambulance. But then again, that is merely what I was told :ponder:

Yes, more than once. Usually when I have a seizure I do. I don't remember very well.
