The past few days have been like a rollercoaster. I have been sad, happy, agitated, depressed and irritable all in the space of a few hours. I had a good day yesterday, hardly any seizures but today has just been awful.

It started off well but as soon as I got home I was agitated and depressed and irritable and am constantly crying every so often. I don't want to go out because I have nowhere to go, and have no inspiration to go out.

I don't have a dog so I can't take one out for a walk, I have asked for one but no. And whenever I am sad I always get treated like an invalid. Does anyone have any inspiring words or anything? I'm just so... Meh. It sucks so bad

wow, I am sorry to hear of that crappy feeling. I have found solace in taking myself for a walk. I have a dog but sometimes even take myself out to eat or to a movie.

Inspiration I doubt but I do understand where you are coming from and how you feel. You know Janus has a good idea about the walk, might seem crazy but it does help. The agitation and depression might be something you should bring up with you neurologist a lot of the meds can cause this effect. But yes you can feel down because there is nobody who understands or who cares, you are wrong there here we all understand and we all care and I am sure not guessing, that there is family and friends who care a great deal they may no understand fully but they are trying.

You can go anywhere, whenever you want do not let others tell you or even think you cannot. I bet there are places you would like to go and see so why not do just that for yourself after all its something you would like.

Give me a good reason you cannot have a dog and you do not need a dog to go for a walk, what about a friend or family member although I do not think they would appreciate you trying to put a lead on them. We all get treated like invalids so do not worry about that, milk it for all its worth and let them see that's what you are doing, then they will stop treating you like an invalid. In the mean time just mind yourself and if needed have a cry its good for you.
