As a child I used to complain about "volcanoes in my head." It used to feel like all the fluid in my head would rush into one part of my brain and then explode back out leaving me with the erupting volcano feel. It went away as I grew up, but has resurfaced in the last few months. Not only do I get this weird feeling, but now excruciating headaches all around my brain.
Anyone else feel like this?
Thank you for your help!!!!!!

Ugh, that sounds unpleasant. =( Have you contacted your doctor about it? I haven't experienced exactly that, but I do get firey pain in my feet and legs when I have a simple partial seizure, and a crawling feeling inside my head.

Yea it's no party haha. My old doctor, although bright, we'll just say...was not a good match. I see my new doctor Friday, so cross your fingers I get some good feedback. I just hate talking about my issues to figures of authority, because I feel weak and like I'm in trouble. I know that sounds silly, but as I've seen throughout this forum, I feel embarrassed and humiliated by the issue and hate seeming so...vulnerable. But, what's life without a little embarrassment and humiliation haha.
Thanks for all your help!

Many folks with epilepsy also experience migraine-like headaches, and some of the anti-seizure meds are also prescribed to treat such headaches. Let the doc know -- there may be medications that can help with the pain -- and keep track of when the headaches occur to make sure they're not escalating. You may also be able to identify and avoid any triggers by keeping a seizure/symptom diary.
